About Eileen Hebron

Klein Dance, Inc. is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through Level 3 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teacher Eileen Hebron, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.

Hebron serves as an adjunct faculty member in the dance department at Palm Beach Atlantic University and an instructor at Klein Dance in West Palm Beach during the academic year while, during the summers, she teaches for the American Ballet Theatre in New York.

Her early ballet training began on Long Island with Valia Seiskaya, but she was quickly accepted in The School of American Ballet. The Helena Rubinstein Foundation awarded her a full scholarship to study at this premier ballet academy. As a student entering at the advanced level, she was selected to participate in lecture demonstration programs performing a variety of pas de deuxs and excerpts from Balanchine ballets under the direction of Suki Schorer. In 1984, in an annual workshop performance, she was chosen by Peter Martins, the director of The New York City Ballet, to perform a solo in his ballet “Scarlatti.” Subsequently, she also became a member of the Screen Actors Guild, landing a commercial for Nestlé and a dancing role in the Walt Disney movie, “Off Beat.”

In 1985, Hebron was selected by Mikhail Baryshnikov to join The American Ballet Theatre, where for eight years she performed numerous classical and contemporary ballets to wide acclaim.
